Show in a Week

Welcome to Elizabeth Samuels Drama School’s exciting ‘Show in a Week’ program, where children get to experience the thrill of rehearsing and performing a play in just five days, under the guidance of a professional director.

This summer, embark on a journey down the rabbit hole with our Year 7 to Year 11 production of:

Alice in Wonderland
Adapted for the stage by Ed Hartland

When and Where:
Rehearsals: 24th - 27th June, 9am - 3.30pm
Performance: Friday 28th June at 6pm
Location: Rome International School, Via Guglielmo Pecori Giraldi, 137 - 00135 Rome, Italy

What to Expect:
Participants will immerse themselves in the whimsical world of Wonderland, honing their acting skills and building camaraderie with fellow cast members. Under the expert guidance of our director, they will bring beloved characters to life, from the curious Alice to the enigmatic Cheshire Cat.

Join Us On Stage:
No prior acting experience is required to take part in Show in a Week. We welcome children of all abilities who have a passion for performance. There are no auditions; our aim is to create an inclusive and supportive environment where every child can shine.

Important Details:

• Participants should arrive at Rome International School on Friday 28th June
  at 1.45pm where they will stay with the directors until the end of the performance.

• Booking for Show in a Week closes one week before the first rehearsal, as cast members receive their parts and begin learning lines. Parents will need to print off their child's script and provide a simple costume for the performance.
